The worshop will lead to photography exhibit opening at Home Gardens Library on October 22. ![]() Isabel will discuss the research that went into creating the book and strategies for choosing what stories to tell. The author's talk is open to general public and will be followed by book signing and giveaway.Ī three day photography workshop - Tuesday September 13, 20,27 led by the professional photograper Steffanie Padilla will draw inspiration from this book and encourage teens to find their visual voices. When tragedy struck Iturbide as a young mother, she turned to photography for solace and understanding. Graciela Iturbide was born in Mexico City in 1942, the oldest of 13 children. She will spotlight Graciela’s interest in communities and neighborhoods around the world and focus on the artist's creative process.
